Job Summary
Lead and mentor Operations Managers across multiple locations while overseeing shop performance, P&L, and cost efficiency. Conduct bi-annual shop audits to track compliance with company and customer standards, ensure technician training and certification requirements are met, and support new shop start-ups from hiring to full operational readiness. Approve expense reports, vacation schedules, and disciplinary actions, and serve as backup for Operations Managers when needed. Drive improvements in safety, customer satisfaction, and operational processes while managing extensive travel to visit shop locations.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive travel required
- Experience as a Service Manager, Operations Manager, or General Manager in truck, trailer, or transport refrigeration maintenance
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 25 lbs, work in shop environments, and adapt to varying conditions
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus)
