Job Summary
Drive brand values and standards through all training and development activities while coaching, training, and developing management and crew members. Assist with hiring and staffing needs, focusing on critically under-staffed cafes, and ensure team member training programs are executed per TSC and DYNE standards. Interact with crew members, customers, and vendors using core values to deliver unparalleled hospitality, while managing labor and controlling inventory using MyInventory. Ensure each station operates to Tropical Smoothie Café standards and perform any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe. Flexible hours available starting at 5:00 AM or until midnight based on café availability.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word, and ability to learn to use other computer software programs
- Must have strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions
- Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift
- Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash
- Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers
- Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, overhead reaching and stretching
- Lifting no greater than 50 pounds
- Successfully completed the Cafe Basics and Certified Trainer Program
