Job Summary
Manage shift operations by coaching crew members, training new hires, and ensuring all stations meet brand standards. Drive brand values through development activities while assisting with hiring needs for under-staffed cafes. Support inventory training, manage labor and control inventory using MyInventory, and deliver unparalleled hospitality to customers. Provide assistance for new software rollouts and ensure team member training programs execute per TSC and DYNE standards. Maintain proficiency in each cafe position while navigating a fast-paced environment with continuous standing and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Ability to learn to use other computer software programs
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions
- Must be able to work starting at 5:00 AM or until midnight
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must be able to bend
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to stretch
- Must be able to reach overhead
- Must be able to walk continuously
- Must be able to stand continuously
- Must be able to navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Must be able to perform continuous face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and proficient in each position within the cafe
- Successfully completed the Cafe Basics and Certified Trainer Program
- Ability to assist in inventory training
- Ability to drive brand values and standards through all training and development activities
- Ability to assist with the coaching, training, and development of management and crew members
- Ability to assist with hiring & staffing needs
- Ability to provide support for any new software rollouts and training
- Ability to ensure team member training programs are executed per TSC & DYNE standards
- Ability to deliver Unparalleled Hospitality to each customer
- Ability to ensure each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafes standards
- Ability to use tools to accomplish goals, manage labor and control inventory using MyInventory
- Ability to perform any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
