Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day operations of the café by driving sales, managing labor and inventory costs, and recruiting, interviewing, and training crew members. Maintain high brand standards through daily coaching, shift management, and ensuring safe sanitation practices while executing product preparation and customer service. Conduct weekly food inventory, reconcile invoices, manage cash drawers, and submit accurate payroll. Hit sales goals using Micros MyInventory and review Profit & Loss statements. Maintain employee schedules, fill in when needed, and attend weekly conference calls and area meetings. Work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two or more years of restaurant experience
- Progressive supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Current valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Strong working knowledge of Word
- Ability to learn to use other computer software programs
- Strong mathematical skills
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions
- Must be willing to work starting at 5am
- Must be willing to work until midnight
- Expect to work a varied schedule including weekends
