Job Summary
Support General Managers across up to 30–40 cafes by executing all training programs, coaching management and crew, and covering GM vacations or transitions. Drive brand values and standards through development activities, assist with hiring for critically under-staffed locations, and ensure station operations meet Tropical Smoothie Cafe requirements. Manage labor and inventory using MyInventory and Excel while delivering unparalleled hospitality to customers. Requires willingness to work shifts from 5am to midnight, weekends, and holidays, with continuous standing and lifting up to 30 pounds. Must hold a valid driver's license and possess strong supervisory and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Two or more years of restaurant experience
- Progressive supervisory experience
- Current valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Strong working knowledge of Word
- Ability to learn to use other computer software programs
- Strong mathematical skills
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a shift
- Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to remain positive in stressful working conditions
- Ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, overhead reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift no greater than 50 pounds
- Willingness to work starting at 5am
- Willingness to work until midnight
- Willingness to work weekends
- Willingness to work holidays
- Successful completion of the Cafe Basics program
- Certified Trainer Program completion
- Ability to comply with uniform and personal hygiene policies
