Job Summary
Oversee the Trimming and Plant Health Division by managing crews for annual flower planting, shrub trimming, and tree trimming. Scout client properties for pests, diseases, and tree concerns while maintaining professional standards during client interactions. Build seasonal schedules, dispatch daily work, and conduct morning meetings to coordinate crew activities. Perform on-site quality control to ensure trimming aligns with company and ISA standards, and train staff on procedures and equipment safety. Serve as a crew leader in the field and manage snow removal duties during winter. Maintain office equipment and perform transitional season tasks as needed. Requires ISA certification and a Class A driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of two years of experience or formal education in Plant Healthcare
- ability to obtain International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification
- Class A driver's License
- ISA Certified Arborist
