Job Summary
Line clearance climbing trimmer for utility tree work in Medina and Lorain County, OH. Responsibilities include pruning and removal of trees to maintain safe clearance for major electric utility providers, removing broken limbs from around utility lines and structures, applying tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines, and safely operating tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts) while coordinating with ground crew and foreperson. Climbing using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems; CDL holder preferred; outdoors-based role with full-time hours and up to 25% travel. Required: valid driver’s license; training through Davey Tree Orientation, First Aid/CPR, and defensive driving courses. Preferred: CDL-A/B with Air Brake Endorsement, line clearance experience, pesticides licenses, ISA TCIA certifications.
