Job Summary
Prune treetops and remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects while operating chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts. Maintain all equipment safely and function as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and foreperson. Complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program, First Aid/CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire. Requires a valid driver's license; Commercial Driver's License preferred. On-site work in Stanton, KY with up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- valid driver's license
- Up to 25% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
- line clearance experience or other related tree work
- relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
- ISA Certified Arborist®
- ISA Certified Tree Worker®
- TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®
