Job Summary
Implement Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus instruction for high school students within the Upward Bound Program's structured class periods. Deliver lessons covering trigonometric functions, identities, equations, and graphs to supplement students' current high school mathematics. Tutor students during these sessions to strengthen foundational concepts for higher-level math and college preparation. This part-time, temporary role runs from September 24th through December 10th, with classes held Thursday evenings from 6:30 P.M. to 8:20 P.M. The position requires a minimum of one 50-minute class period per week and is compensated at an hourly wage. A Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field is required, with experience in high school or college-preparatory programs preferred.
