Job Summary
Process enrollments, disenrollments, and portability transfers via Defense Online Enrollment System and MHS Genesis, while updating Primary Care Manager changes per Military Treatment Facility guidelines. Provide beneficiary education on TRICARE resources and claims status updates through in-person and phone interactions, and lead informational briefings for events such as maternity and pre-separation. Collect daily activity and Other Health Insurance data into applicable systems, evaluate assistance levels, and escalate complex issues for resolution. Comply with HIPAA regulations and complete required training courses. This role supports the TRICARE Overseas Program under the Defense Health Agency in Sigonella, Italy, assisting active-duty members and families with healthcare services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Associate's degree in a related field
- Major certification in a related field
- High school diploma
- U.S. Citizenship
- SOFA/Command-Sponsored status (as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee, or U.S. Contractor supporting the DoD)
- Missione Visa and Soggiorno permit
- Eligible to obtain and maintain ADP IT III clearance (Non-Sensitive Position, Tier 1)
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to tactfully communicate with others, both in person and on the phone
- Self-starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail
