Job Summary
Provide TRICARE Overseas Program enrollment services, including verifying benefits, processing enrollments and disenrollments, and managing Primary Care Manager changes via DOES and MHS Genesis systems. Offer beneficiary education, claims assistance, and lead briefings on events such as maternity and pre-separation. Collect daily activity data, assess complex issues for escalation, and ensure HIPAA compliance while adhering to SOFA designation requirements for deployment across Guam, Japan, and South Korea. Travel 25-75% of the time to support multi-site coverage within the Pacific region.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Eligible to obtain and maintain ADP IT III clearance (Non-Sensitive Position, Tier 1)
- Eligible to obtain Invited Contractor 700-19 SOFA designation for employment in South Korea
- Able to provide proof of ordinary residency in the United States
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Willing and able to travel to multiple sites 25-75% of the time
- Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to tactfully communicate with others, both in person and on the phone
- Self-starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with TRICARE Overseas Program, Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), DOES, and MHS Genesis
- Work background in the following areas: U.S. military healthcare delivery system or civilian managed care
- Medical or clinical environment
- MHS Genesis or civilian healthcare systems, medical claims
- SOFA/Command-Sponsored status as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee, or U.S. Contractor supporting the DoD
