Job Summary
Install and configure software, hardware, and networks while monitoring system performance and troubleshooting outages. Manage network servers, workstations, and third-party hosting infrastructure, ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls. Upgrade systems with new releases and develop expertise to train staff on emerging technologies. Maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation and IT policies. Fully support corporate customer networks and in-house servers, including integrating new server hardware and applications. This role requires proven experience with Windows server OS, Linux, and databases like MS SQL and MySQL, alongside scripting skills in Python or Perl. Located in North York, Toronto, this permanent full-time hybrid position offers a salary range of $80-97k.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
- Windows server OS
