Job Summary

Coordinate all tribal activities for the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), including direct engagement with tribal leaders and members to improve program adoption. Reduce cultural barriers to use while providing technical assistance to state and local law enforcement, medical examiners, and allied professionals. Manage free forensic services such as DNA, dental, fingerprinting, and Forensic Genetic Genealogy to aid medicolegal investigations. Evaluate the impact of NamUs operations to support ongoing initiatives and national outreach efforts. This full-time remote role requires a Moderate Risk background investigation and U.S. citizenship, with occasional travel possible.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in business administration, office management, communication, or other related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
