Tribal Relationship Manager

Job Summary
Develop and maintain strong banking relationships with tribal governments, enterprises, and affiliated organizations throughout Oklahoma. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, driving acquisition and growth in depository relationships, treasury management services, and commercial lending. Execute strategic calling plans to increase market penetration while representing the bank at tribal conferences, industry events, and community functions. Coordinate with internal credit and lending teams to structure financing solutions and prepare client presentations and strategic recommendations. Monitor relationships for cross-selling opportunities and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Travel frequently throughout Oklahoma and nationally to meet clients and attend economic development forums.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial banking, treasury management, business development, or relationship management
- Demonstrated success developing new business and growing depository, treasury management, and lending relationships
- Strong knowledge of commercial banking products and services
- Ability to travel extensively and represent the bank at client and industry events
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and communicate effectively in various office, client, and event settings for extended periods
- Ability to travel frequently throughout Oklahoma and occasionally outside the state to attend client meetings, conferences, and business development events
- Ability to use standard office equipment and lift or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds as needed for presentations and events
- Strong business development and relationship management skills with the ability to establish credibility and build trusted partnerships with tribal governments, tribal enterprises, and community leaders
- Understanding of tribal governance structures, tribal sovereignty, and the unique financial and business needs of tribal entities
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategic calling plans, and achieve business development and revenue growth goals
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including commercial banking, credit, treasury management, and executive leadership
- Strong networking, negotiation, and consultative sales skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships, priorities, and projects simultaneously
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and operate with a high degree of professionalism and cultural awareness
- Must be able to travel frequently throughout Oklahoma and, as needed, nationally to meet with tribal clients, attend industry conferences, and support business development initiatives
- Ability to travel frequently throughout Oklahoma and occasionally outside the state to attend client meetings, conferences, and business development events
- Must be able to lift or carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds as needed for presentations and events
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and communicate effectively in various office, client, and event settings for extended periods
- Must be able to use standard office equipment
- Must be able to maintain satisfactory attendance
- Must complete and attend all required CCB training
- Must adhere to the bank's policies and support management decisions and goals in a positive, professional manner
- Must represent CCB with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Must maintain knowledge and understanding of banking rules, regulations, laws, and all policies and procedures
- Must demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
- Must possess a work ethic that includes neatness and punctuality
- Must exhibit a professional, business-like appearance, and demeanor
- Must answer all voicemails and emails within 24 hours of receipt
- Must confer with management concerning questions, procedures, necessary information, forms completion, and problem resolutions
- Must review new files within 48 hours
- Must close all loans on or before expected closing date
- Must keep accurate and updated notes on every loan file in our Loan Origination System
- Must maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, pipeline management, and business development efforts within the bank's customer relationship management systems
- Must ensure compliance with all bank policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws governing commercial banking activities
- Must meet or exceed established goals for deposit growth, treasury management revenue, commercial loan production, and overall relationship profitability
- Must be available for weekend commitments
- Must be available for evening commitments
