Tribal Child Welfare Program Manager

AVCP seeks a Tribal Child Welfare (TCW) Program Manager to lead the TCW program across regional communities, Bethel, and Anchorage, overseeing budget development and multi-stream funding, advancing the Tribal Title IV-E program, and managing reporting requirements. The role requires developing policies and procedures to ensure safe, culturally grounded services for tribal children and families, negotiating the Tribal State Child Welfare Compact, engaging with compacted Tribes’ councils, representing AVCP in related coalitions, supervising staff, and embedding the Healthy Families cultural approach throughout operations. The manager will handle confidential client information, coordinate program delivery with the division director, and pursue funding opportunities while monitoring program effectiveness and service delivery alignment with AVCP’s mission.
