Trial Paralegal - Los Angeles

Job Summary
Trial paralegal supports attorneys in federal matters including pre-indictment cases, trials, appeals, and habeas matters. Responsibilities include assisting with case preparation and trials, identifying appropriate technology for discovery review and analysis, reviewing and organizing discovery, creating indices and chronologies, preparing documents for experts, assisting with bail processes, attending client meetings, using databases and digital presentation tools in the courtroom (e.g., Eclipse, CaseMap, Summation, Relativity, Trial Director, PowerPoint, Cellebrite, Axiom), and proficiency with Office 365 and research databases (PACER, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Accurint). Role requires availability during regular hours and, as needed, evenings and weekends; telework up to two days per week is allowed. The position is full-time and located in Los Angeles, CA, within the Central District of California; background check required; U.S. Citizenship or permanent residence preferred for employment.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- five (5) or more years of experience as a litigation paralegal preparing cases for trial and providing support during trial
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred but not required
