Job Summary
Receive, docket, and process court cases while issuing legal documents and maintaining the court calendar. Schedule hearings, process payments, and prepare dockets for the District Court. Facilitate courtroom proceedings in person and virtually by operating recording and virtual conferencing technology. Provide support and information to judges, attorneys, self-represented litigants, and the public via phone, email, and in person. Handle sensitive information with discretion and make decisions based on applicable laws and rules. Perform other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District Court.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with virtual platforms such as Zoom
- Ability to manage phone calls and in-person interactions
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
