Job Summary
Trial Attorney to lead complex personal injury cases through all litigation stages in NC District and Superior Courts. Responsible for investigating claims, developing case strategy, drafting briefs and motions, conducting depositions and expert consultations, and trying cases to verdict with courtroom-presented arguments. Role includes mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to process improvements within the litigation team. Relocation assistance offered; must be licensed in good standing with NC State Bar and have at least 5 years of plaintiff’s litigation experience in NC.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
- At least 5 years of plaintiff’s litigation experience in NC
- SC Bar admission preferred
- Experience: lead complex personal injury cases from start to finish
- Deep understanding of civil litigation rules, courtroom procedure, and trial strategy
- Excellent writing, communication, and negotiation skills
