Job Summary
Conduct telephone triage for patient health complaints using an electronic triage assessment tool and navigate multiple platforms to assess current health complaints, review electronic charts, and schedule PCP appointments and ancillary centers. Document phone call details in a tracking system for department data collection, assess and close patient care gaps, and execute all policies and procedures instructed by direct supervisor. Build positive working relationships with COPC staff, offices, and physicians. Requires an active Ohio RN license, two years of hospital or medical practice experience, pediatric experience, and proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office. Full-time role in Gahanna, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of Ohio
- Two years minimum Registered Nurse experience in a hospital and/or medical practice setting
- Exceptional active listening, communication, and documentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills, and mind-set
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Ability to adapt to department growth, expansion, and policies/ procedures
- Experience in pediatrics
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, such as Excel
- Proficient knowledge of electronic health records
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in telephonic nursing triage
