Job Summary
Conduct triage assessments, prioritize patient urgency, and monitor clinical status for individuals in mental health or substance use crises. Administer medications as ordered, review cases, and provide psychoeducational services to clients. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop person-centered treatment plans and facilitate referrals to the next level of care. This role supports the Rely Center's urgent care and 23-hour stabilization unit, requiring a licensed RN or Paramedic with experience in psychiatric settings.
Required Qualifications
- Position can be filled by a licensed RN or Paramedic
- Must be recognized as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Indiana
- Completion of an accredited paramedic program and successful completion of paramedic certification exam
- Must hold an active Indiana paramedic license in good standing
- Must be able to work in a multidisciplinary team (particularly with providers and licensed therapists)
- Drug screen, TB test and extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References) are required of all Aspire employees
- Required to be fully vaccinated against COVID19 prior to joining Aspire
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a diploma from a two (2) year accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one (1) year supervised experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting highly preferred
- One (1) year experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting highly preferred
