Triage Specialist

Manage calls and questions from patients and staff, prioritizing requests by severity and directing patients to doctors or scheduling appointments. Execute triage plans by making appointments, calling in drops, and processing pharmacy requests through e-Rx with proper documentation. Monitor the NextGen task basket, follow up on outside lab work, and handle doctor-to-doctor and doctor-to-patient communications. Act as an information desk providing directions and rescheduling cancellations while maintaining a sample drug log in compliance with Ohio State Pharmacy Board requirements.
