Job Summary
Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians, handling phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient education. Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients and chart in Epic, the electronic medical record. Requires current Illinois nursing licensure, a BSN (strongly preferred), BLS/CPR certification, and one year of nursing experience. Full-time role (40 hours) with a 7AM to 5PM Monday to Friday schedule, rotating weekends, and on-site presence five days a week. Travel is based on department need. Endeavor Health serves over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties with a network of ambulatory locations and acute care hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider
- 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting
- Must be available for rotating weekends
- Must be available for on-site work 5 days a week
