Triage Order Quality Associate II

Triage Order Quality Associate Level II (TOQII) at Exact Sciences is responsible for accurate and timely filing of insurance claims, determining initial and ongoing patient insurance eligibility verification, investigating and correcting account information, and ensuring proper authorization and documentation. The role involves reviewing/editing claims and appeals prior to submission, researching missing or erroneous information, resolving claim issues per payer rules, handling denials through appropriate next steps (appeals, write-offs, or statements), and supporting ad-hoc projects. It requires strong knowledge of Epic, OnBase, and payor portals, adherence to HIPAA guidelines, and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders. The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of medical billing/insurance processing experience, and 1+ year in TOQ Associate Level I, with a focus on accuracy, independence, and teamwork. The work is conducted during normal business hours in a remote US-based setting, with salary in the national range and bonus eligibility.
