Triage Nurse - Hybrid Remote

The Triage Nurse facilitates communication between patients, providers, care teams, and referral sources. Obtaining precise and accurate information from patients is critical to this role. The Triage Nurse serves as a liaison between patients and clinical staff, working closely with OAW healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care through telephone triage, patient education, and care coordination. Following an onsite training period, this position operates primarily in a remote work environment with regular onsite attendance requirements. Responsibilities include assessing telephone calls to direct patients to appropriate services, collaborating with physicians and staff to implement process improvements, following approved clinical protocols, entering imaging orders per physician instruction, and maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA. Requires HS diploma (nursing degree preferred), CPR/AED, EPIC/EHR familiarity, and ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting; role includes remote duties with periodic onsite duties and potential for phlebotomy. The position supports a hybrid work model with initial onsite training and periodic onsite presence for orientation and clinical tasks.
