Job Summary
Triage and Assessment Manager leading the organization’s housing stability model, conducting triage assessments, determining intervention levels, and designing client-centered housing crisis intervention plans. Responsible for timely triage, coordinated service delivery, and effective interventions to prevent evictions and promote long-term housing stability. Requires strong problem-solving, organizational, and trauma-informed client support, with emphasis on benefit navigation, data-informed program improvements, stakeholder collaboration, and staff leadership. Must be bilingual in Spanish and able to communicate effectively with diverse clients and partner organizations. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Director of Program Operations and involves contributing to program development, staff training, and continuity of care across services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of progressive experience in social services, including at least 2 years supporting families prevent evictions
- Deep knowledge of housing stability programs, eviction prevention, crisis intervention, housing court and government benefits
- Experience leading case conferencing unsupervised
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skill, including the ability to guide, influence, and hold staff accountable
- Strong advocacy skills and willingness to identify creative solutions to achieve outcomes for clients
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and the intersection of mental health, housing instability and systemic inequities
- Ability to move cases forward with urgency and accountability
- Strong conflict resolution, mediation and de-escalation skills
- Experience using data to inform programmatic recommendations and decision-making
- Partnership-building skills with diverse stakeholders
- Commitment to equity, inclusion and serving diverse communities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management
- Bilingual Spanish required
