Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities, assessing mental status and diagnosing DSM-V disorders. Develop treatment plans utilizing psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments while staffing clinical cases with psychiatrists. Requires Washington licensure for prescribing controlled substances and one year of geriatric psychiatry experience within SNFs or acute rehab hospitals. Offers flexible scheduling with monthly incentives, four weeks of PTO, and access to AI note-taking tools to streamline documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent written communication
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations
