Tri-Axle CDL Drivers

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution
• •Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience OR Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience
• •Valid Medical Card
• •Clean driving record
• •Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• •Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
• •Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
• •Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• •Must be available for outside weather conditions
• •Must be able to handle vibration
• •Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts
• •Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels
• •Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• •Must be able to sit
• •Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
• •Must be able to reach with hands and arms
• •Must be able to talk or hear
• •Must be able to perform daily pre and post trip of vehicle
• •Must be able to maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
• •Must be able to perform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
• •Must be able to maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
• •Must be able to load and unload truck
• •Must be able to inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
• •Must be able to tarp all loads when public roadway travel is necessary
• •Must be able to trim all loads prior to tarping when necessary
• •Must be able to prepare receipts for load pick up
• •Must be able to drive truck to destination
• •Must pass pre-employment drug testing
• •Must pass pre-employment physical

Desired Qualifications

• •3 years of commercial driving experience
• •3 years of triaxle driving experience
• •Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
• •TWIC card
• •Experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries
• •MSHA, OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
