Job Summary
Drive a tri-axle truck to destinations while maintaining logs, performing daily pre and post trip inspections, and loading/unloads equipment. Inspect tires, lights, brakes, and fluids; tarp and trim loads for public roadway travel. Prepare receipts for load pickup and maintain radio contact with supervisors for delivery instructions. Adhere strictly to OSHA and H&K Safety policies. Requires Class A or B CDL with one year experience, clean driving record, and medical card. Located in Perkasie, PA, with competitive salary and full health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution
- Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience OR Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience
- Medical card
- Clean driving record
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Strong preference for 3 years of tri-axle driving experience
- TWIC card preferred with CDL class A
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
- Experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries
- OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
