Job Summary
Trepan Operator in the Machine Department responsible for boring rolls to remove centerline indications and/or as part of specified heat treatment. Duties include setting up and operating trepan lathes, timely, accurate documentation of daily production, preventative maintenance, maintaining equipment, reporting deviations and equipment problems, verifying bore size and sonic inspection, blueprints interpretation, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, conversions) and attention to detail are required. Competitive wages starting at $22.20/hour with potential for higher compensation, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus and participation in the Production Incentive Program.
