Job Summary
Assist with digging and preparing trenches for underground electrical conduit and cabling, while helping pour, form, and finish concrete as needed. Operate hand tools and light equipment such as trenchers and compactors, then backfill and compact trenches to code and job requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by following all OSHA safety standards and company protocols. Take direction from lead trench and concrete workers, learning to read basic site plans over time. This hands-on role offers full-time steady work with competitive pay from $20.00 to $23.00/hour, including mentorship from experienced crew members at American Electric Co Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA.
