Tree Trimmer

Cut and trim trees using industry best management practices, wedges, sledges, and chainsaws to fell trees and split logs. Apply herbicide to prevent regrowth as indicated on maps. Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, or feed material into a woodchipper. Safeguard employees and the public from job site hazards while inspecting tools, trucks, and equipment for maintenance. Maintain housekeeping on vehicles and work locations. Commit to daily safety standards and perform other related tasks as assigned by superiors. Full-time employment with 4, 10-hour days, a 3-day weekend, and a starting rate between $27.38 and $40.90/hr.
