Job Summary
Groundsman for Caldwell Tree Care supports tree care operations by preparing and staging tools and supplies, operating stump grinders, chainsaws, and chippers, and assisting with rope work and rigging during removal and pruning. Responsibilities include clearing debris, maintaining tools, and ensuring a safe, organized work area in line with ANSI and OSHA standards. Climbing experience is a plus and may lead to expanded responsibilities; the role includes on-the-job training, career advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or outdoor labor.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Dependable, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with power tools (preferred).
