Job Summary
Tree Climber/Tree Crew Leader at Arbor Masters oversees and executes advanced tree work including pruning and removals, operates heavy equipment (bucket trucks, chippers, chain saws), leads a pruning crew, and communicates with homeowners. Responsibilities include rigging, equipment maintenance, job briefings, safety compliance, site setup, risk assessments, and post-job customer walkthroughs. Must have substantial climbing and foreman experience, ISA Arborist certification (or in process), and capability to train and motivate a team while maintaining high safety standards. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years climbing experience and/or 2 years documented foreman experience
- ISA Certified Arborist (or in process)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather; physically capable of lifting 50 lbs; heights above 10 feet
- Valid driver’s license; CDL class A or B with airbrake endorsement preferred but not required
