Job Summary
Lead and supervise a tree care crew performing pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals; ensure safety compliance, equipment maintenance, crew training, scheduling, and coordination with management and customers. Manage daily pre-trip inspections for Class B equipment, oversee safety materials and training, maintain climbing gear, and ensure proper disposal of debris. Bring 5+ years of tree care experience, CDL, supervisory background, ability to operate heavy equipment/boom trucks, and certification readiness for EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR. Bilingual Spanish skills preferred. Must be able to work outdoors in varied conditions, including weekends or overtime when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in tree care services, climbing, production tree trimming, detail tree trimming, rigging/roping, & tree removals
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Experience managing a crew consisting of climbers and grounds men or related services
- Supervisory experience
- Minimum 3 yrs boom truck experience
- Ability to become certified in EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR
- Strong work ethic
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish)
