Job Summary
Conduct daily tree care operations on a General Tree Care crew, performing pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other landscape maintenance tasks. Safely operate all equipment including chainsaws and aerial lifts while adhering to tree care safety standards. Identify native and introduced tree species to ensure client landscapes remain healthy and well-maintained. Requires valid U.S. driver's license, ability to climb without spurs, and experience with large shade trees and ornamentals. Sign-on bonus of $1,000 and hourly pay ranging from $28 to $38 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
- Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics
- Ability to climb without spurs
- Experience with tree care safety standards
- Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
- Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)
- Valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
