Job Summary
Tree Climber on SavATree’s General Tree Care crew performing outdoor tree care including pruning, removals, and cable bracing on client landscapes. Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment and climbing to access trees, working with a team to deliver high-quality tree care, identifying tree and shrub species, and adhering to safety standards. The role requires pruning experience with large shade trees and ornamentals, familiarity with chainsaws and equipment, and experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck). A valid U.S. driver’s license is required (CDL a plus) and applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. The position offers training and development opportunities, and benefits such as health/dental, PTO, 401(k), and more.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
- Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species
- Ability to climb without spurs
- Experience with tree care safety standards
- Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
- Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)
- Valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles, CDL a plus
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
