Job Summary
Lead the General Tree Care crew on daily pruning, removals, cable bracing, and equipment operation to maintain client landscapes. Execute safe climbing, chainsaw use, and aerial lift tasks while identifying native species and adhering to industry safety standards. Requires valid U.S. driver's license, CDL preferred, and ability to climb without spurs. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and possess experience with large shade trees and ornamentals. Competitive pay up to $35/hr plus benefits, including health, dental, PTO, 401(K), and an Equipment Account.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
- Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics
- Ability to climb without spurs
- Experience with tree care safety standards
- Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
- Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)
- Valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
- The desire to work outdoors
