Job Summary
As a Tree Climber on the General Tree Care Team, you will work outdoors on client properties performing climbing and pruning duties using safe and efficient techniques. You will operate climbing gear and equipment (including chainsaws), execute pruning and removals, apply proper pruning techniques, and adhere to safety procedures while delivering high-quality service. This physically active role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail, with opportunities for extensive training, career growth, and advancement within the arboriculture industry.
Required Qualifications
- Valid U.S. drivers license with a clean DMV record
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in tree climbing, proper pruning techniques, identifying tree species, and safety standards
- Experience operating climbing gear and equipment (chainsaws, etc.) is advantageous
