Job Summary
Conduct high-quality tree care on a crew, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing using safe climbing gear and chainsaws. Apply proper pruning techniques and tree care practices while strictly following safety procedures. Deliver excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards across beautiful properties. This physically active role requires working outdoors and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. You must hold a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean record and have authorization to work in the U.S. Join a nationwide leader in tree preservation founded 45 years ago, where you'll receive extensive training and opportunities to advance within the arboriculture industry.
Required Qualifications
- A valid U.S. driver's license with a clean DMV record
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in tree climbing (without spurs)
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in proper pruning techniques
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in identifying native and introduced tree and shrub species and understanding their characteristics
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in tree care safety standards
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in chainsaw and equipment operation
- Must be able to climb trees
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds regularly
