Job Summary
Conduct high-quality tree care on client properties by performing pruning, removals, and cable bracing as part of a crew. Safely operate climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment while applying proper pruning techniques and tree care practices. Adhere strictly to safety procedures at all times and deliver professional service to clients. This physically active role requires climbing trees and working at heights with a focus on preservation and care. Candidates must possess a valid U.S. driver's license, authorization to work in the U.S., and willingness to learn native species identification and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- A valid U.S. driver's license with a clean DMV record
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in: Tree climbing (without spurs), Proper pruning techniques, Identifying native and introduced tree and shrub species and understanding their characteristics, Tree care safety standards, Chainsaw and equipment operation
- Willingness to work outdoors in a physically active role
- Must be able to climb trees, work at heights, and lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds regularly
