Tree Care Climber

Beginner-level Tree Care Climber responsibilities include performing basic tree care operations such as pruning and limb removal on the ground and in trees up to 60 feet, accessing trees safely according to protocols, and safely maneuvering throughout canopies. The role requires safe operation of powered equipment (chippers, trucks, blowers), proficiency with chainsaws (ground-based and canopy-based), and use of hand tools (hand saws, pole pruners, pole saws, rakes, shovels). Candidate must follow PPE and safety requirements, communicate with team and the public, assist with site clearing and debris disposal, and follow procedures for preventing property damage and injuries. Required attributes include the ability to read and interpret written materials, perform basic math for field operations, effective critical thinking, and the ability to work outdoors year-round, including weekends or holidays. The position may require driving a BrightView fleet vehicle and obtaining EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR certifications in time. Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $32.00 per hour, with full-time benefits as described.
