Job Summary
As a Wound/Treatment Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will be responsible for admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, conducting daily rounds to monitor their physical and emotional status, administering medication and treatments, and overseeing unlicensed staff in providing resident care. The role emphasizes maintaining confidentiality, promoting a safe environment, and delivering high-quality care to support residents and their families. Required qualifications include current LVN/LPN licensure, strong communication skills, and basic computer knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
- Wound care certificate
