Job Summary
Monitor client activities, administer medications, and collect urine specimens while ensuring facility safety and policy adherence. Conduct nightly living quarter checks, secure premises, and document observations or infractions in the communication log. Drive clients to meetings, pick up new clients at airports, and assist with transportation needs. Perform medication inventory, monitor meal preparation, and distribute mail. Report any safety risks, medication errors, or urgent care needs to the Operations Manager or Program Director. Participate in Quality Management processes and follow the office cleaning schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Driver license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to adhere to a flexible work schedule
- General knowledge and understanding of substance abuse treatment
- General knowledge and understanding of 12-Step philosophy and applications of the 12-Step program
- Moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare/rehab setting
- CPR certified
