Job Summary
Process and proofread all assigned correspondence, reports, charts, and proposals with a focus on spelling, grammar, and mathematical accuracy. Serve as the lead office staff for client inquiries, the Outpatient Treatment Team, and funding sources, managing daily client authorization dates, insurance, and EVS reports. Create and edit necessary documents, maintain schedules and databases, and screen calls to assess immediate client needs. Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries, distribute internal and external correspondence, and resolve non-routine cooperative problems. Adhere to all federal, state, and agency policies regarding confidentiality and ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of administrative experience or equivalent combination experience and training
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Interpersonal skills and telephone interaction
- Ability using computer software and work processing equipment
- Communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
- Well organized
- Detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Not excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health program
- Clearances from the PA State Police
- Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services
- FBI Fingerprint Clearances
- Ability to sit for long periods of time during the workday
- Ability to operate a keyboard and multi-line telephone simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to receive, understand, and communicate information with effectiveness
- Ability to follow instructions
