Job Summary
Assess, treat, and document residents' wounds according to federal, state, and local regulations while implementing care plans to promote healing. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensure preventative measures against pressure ulcers, and consult with the Director of Nurses or attending physician regarding changes in resident conditions. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants to deliver appropriate clinical care, assign duties, and maintain a safe environment for the resident population. Collect and document data for quality assurance reports, notify families of significant changes, and participate in the Nurse Manager on-call rotation. Requires a current nursing license, one year of healthcare experience, and knowledge of wound care treatments. Weekend-only schedule at Cantex Senior Communities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School
- current and valid license in the applicable State
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

- Minimum of one-year experience in a long-term or health care setting
