Job Summary
Provide wound care and treatment services as part of a care team; perform dressing changes and wound assessments, monitor healing of wounds/incisions/skin concerns, communicate care plans with physicians and families, evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing, review labs and respond to signs of infection, educate staff on wound prevention/treatment protocols, and assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state
- Experience in wound care and treatment procedures (preferred)
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
