Job Summary
Treatment Nurse LVN provides prescribed treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility, conducts skin assessments and wound care, initiates and documents treatment orders, maintains care plans and documentation, conducts weekly/nursing assessments, and coordinates with physicians, dietitians, and therapists. Requires an LVN (or RN) license, at least 1 year of SNF experience, and strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills to support resident care and treatment orders.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state in which practicing
- Possess one or more year’s experience in a skilled nursing care facility
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Possess mental and physical health
