Job Summary
Provide primary skin care to patients under medical direction in a post-acute care setting as a licensed practical nurse. Identify, manage, and treat skin disorders, educate CNAs on proper positioning and skin care, and communicate changes in patients’ conditions to the DON. Deliver quality nursing care, maintain patient rights, safety, and confidentiality, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate independence in decision-making, adhere to policies, and uphold Life Care standards; capable of standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout shifts. Must have an active LPN/LVN license and accredited LPN education; CPR current or obtained during orientation; geriatric experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Attended an accredited LPN program
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active LPN/LVN license
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
