Treatment Nurse - Desert Springs

Assess resident skin conditions through complete body assessments on admission, re-admission, and after extended absences. Initiate all prescribed treatments immediately, document findings on the Plan of Care, and photograph stage 2, 3, and 4 pressure ulcers upon admission and discharge. Perform weekly skin assessments, submit reports to the Administrator and nursing leadership, and notify the attending physician promptly of any deterioration or non-response to treatment. Order medications, monitor oxygen supply, change drainage bags per policy, and audit monthly treatment sheets for compliance. Maintain professional conduct while ensuring all resident rights are protected and consumer concerns are resolved according to company standards.
