Job Summary
Provide excellent nursing care to residents with wounds, evaluate wounds for infections or other factors, supervise day-to-day nursing activities following standards and regulations for long-term care and skilled nursing facilities; communicate changes in resident condition to staff, physicians, residents, and families; perform administrative duties (medical documents, reports, charting); admit/transfer/discharge residents; ensure adequate supplies and equipment; prevent resident abuse; conduct rounds to assess/plan care (wound care, behavior management, respiratory care, etc.); perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- One year of LPN/RN experience
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as RN (Colorado preferred) or LPN license
- CPR Certification
- Ability to pass criminal background checks (Colorado CAPS background check)
